Moores Creek National Battlefield 236th Anniversary Celebration

Moores Creek is excited to include in this year’s celebration a citizenship ceremony for 120 active military personnel. We are also excited to offer lectures from local historians on a verity of topics from colonial living and warfare to the history and tradition of the Gullah-Geechee people. Living historians will be on the battlefield throughout our celebration demonstrating the day-to-day life of the colonist.There will be musket and cannon firing demonstrations throughout the celebration.
