Join us in celebrating the Springtime return of the American Shad to the Cape Fear River. The yearly ritual is entwined with the cultural traditions of those whose descendants first settled the Middle Cape Fear Region in Bladen and Columbus County.Come prepared to taste our Fried Shad, Steamed Roe and Hush Puppies while enjoying the wondrous beauty of Lock & Dam #1.
