Mama Brava's Pizza, Pasta, & Sub

I will not ever order or eat anything from this place again. We had called in a delivery. After over an hour went by my husband decided to call to check on the status of our order because like I said it had been over an hour. The guy said he had no such order, then My husband over heard him ask if anyone had taken an order for us when someone said yeah, he came back to my husband and said it would be another 45 minutes with no apologies, no well your the priority, nothing. This is no way to treat customers, when you or your employee had made a customer wait that long. They will never see a dime of my money again.

I'm from NY and I really love this place. Authentic NY style pizza cooked in a brick oven is hard to find down here. Mama Brava's dough is made fresh daily. Crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside, just the way pizza crust is supposed to be. If you are from the north and miss the huge 18 inch pizzas, Mama Brava's has it (monster pizza). One slice covers an entire plate, and one monster (cheese) pizza feeds four adults for only $13.15. That's a great deal, no matter how you slice it. The calzones/strombolis are awesome too, made to the order, stuffed with the toppings you want. The wings won a trophy for "Best on the Beach". Try them and you'll know why. They are fantastic! My kids can't get enough of them. Slightly sweet, not too spicy, these wings are unique to this establishment. Their Bambino (children's) menu offers kid friendly foods (not all of them fried), which includes fresh veggies with ranch. Despite a beautiful mirrored bar with dance floor (in the back room), it's a non-smoking establishment (smoking deck is outside), and very kid friendly. Thanks for all you do, Mama.

We went to Mama Brava's last week for shag dancing and had a great time! You walk in to the restaurant and it looks like a regular pizza place, but head toward the back and you'll find a newly renovated space with a nice wood floor, full bar, tables and chairs. We tried the pizza and calzones and they were great. What a find! We'll be back each week.
