Bryant Terry is eco chef, food justice activist and author of Vegan Soul Kitchen. He recently started the Southern Organic Kitchen Project to raise awareness, develop policies and make "fresh, healthy, and culturally appropriate food affordable to community members." His talk will explore the concept of food justice and positions us to understand how poverty, racism and classism impact peoples' opportunities to access healthy food and live healthy lives.
