We are excited to inform you of the plans for the Loney Family Reunion 2013 - July 19, 20, & 21!! . The reunion will be held in Wilmington, NC, the place to “Make the Most of the Coast!” Wilmington offers a relaxing combination of history, championship golf, visit the historical Battleship North Carolina, the African-American-influenced… Show more Cotton Museum Shops, or lounge on the nearby, and largely uninhabited beaches of Wilmington
The reunion fees are $99.00 for adults (ages 12 and up), $49.00 for children (ages 5-11), and no charge for children 4 years and under. The registration fee covers Friday Southern Hospitality social, Saturday’s Historical Wilmington African-American tour in the morning and Historic Ghost Tour in and around the Cotton Museum at night, a fabulous Southern banquet aboard the historical steamboat Henrietta III, as well as breakfast on Sunday morning before Sunday Service. Checks should be made payable to the Loney Family Reunion and mailed with completed registration form to John V. Loney at 61 Hallmark Lane, Sumter, South Carolina 29154.
We have secured accommodations at the Cape Fear waterfront’s Hilton Wilmington Riverside, 301 North Water Street, Wilmington, NC. Single and double room rates are $159.00 per night plus taxes. You must call and make your own reservations at 1-888-324-8170 or visit www.hilton.com by June 18, 2013, to guarantee the group rate. After this date, rooms and rates will be based on availability. Please mention that you are with the Loney Family Reunion when making your reservations; t he reservation code to use is LFR . Please keep in mind if you want to come a day early or stay a day late, you may not be able to make the reservation on line. If this is the case, call the hotel directly Monday-Friday between 9am and 5pm at (910) 763-5900 and ask for Reservations. They will check availability at the discounted rate.
Attached is an itinerary of events and several forms that must be completed and returned by the registration deadline of June 18, 2013.
