Cape Fear Kite Festival

Cape Fear Kite Festival will again be held on the beach in front of Shell Island Resort, Wrightsville Beach this weekend. Come join up to 100 kite flyers from all over the country as they fly some of the biggest (the size of a school bus) to the smaller, powerful multi-line sport kites as well as banner sets lining the waters edge. There's a lot to see and learn about the age old sport of kiting so bring the kids and the camera!
